Dr. Khaled Alfakih

Dr Khaled Alfakih qualified in 1993 from St Bartholomew's medical college, University of London. He became a member of the Royal college of Physicians, London in 1996. His formal research work was undertaken at the University of Leeds, funded by a British heart foundation research grant. He completed his specialist training in Cardiology in Nottingham and was appointed Consultant Cardiologist to Lewisham and Greenwich NHS trust and King's College Hospital in 2008. He was made a fellow of the Royal college of Physicians, London in 2013. He is accredited by the British society of Echocardiography in Trans thoracic and Transesophageal echocardiography. He is also level III accredited in Cardiac MRI and Cardiac CT by ESC and SCCT. He contributed to numerous clinical trials and has published over 80 articles in cardiology journals.
